i don't much care for nor adhere to the reasoning that society today is tiered more by racial/ethnic disparity than economic disparity. a simple statement should clear up any ambiguity here. humans generally seem to only focus on the ethnicity of less affluent humans. sure, prejudice & racism are everyday factors, but not to the extent that most U.S. influenced humans would believe. a rich person is just that. generally speaking, rich people do not tend to become poor. this is not to say that it is unreasonable to expect, or that it does not happen. the point is that once a certain level of financial status has been achieved by a group or individual, the group or individual tends to do any and every thing they want to do.
poor folks do not have such luxury. an awareness of econ & financial issues could go a long way towards success in life. arranging, observing, and investing in one's financial resources are empowering activities. a proper understanding of the stock exchange and other resources is far more likely to remove destitution from a living situation than any government funded stimulus package. it's very much like the Jesus parable dealing w/the fish & the fishing rod. fuck the fish man. get yourself a rod and find out where the fish bite. get your own fish. fuck around and get your own rod too. make that shit. fuck hand outs.
most of this shit is knowledge based. it takes time to study and understand the concepts that govern the markets that make up global commerce. time and study. shit that most cats do not wanna fucking do. time and study. time to find the shit that is pertinent to changing/improving your life condition. study that shit to put it in the practice of changing/improving your life condition. if you think race is still that much of a barrier, then you must not have been alive much over the last 20-25 years. O.J. Simpson blew all that shit outta the water in such a dramatic way that cats are still trying to stick his ass.
consider, this guy murdered or assisted in the murder of 2 Europeans and did no real prison time whatsoever. the civil case went against him, and he's still doing whatever the fuck he wants to do. if race was really the issue it is portrayed to be, O.J. would have been lynched by now. seriously. don't even think about it. acknowledge the fact that this shit is the reality that it is. O.J. is still running around fucking up, but we live in a dominantly racist Western society. does that shit make any damn sense at all? hells fucking no...
